Advanced Clinical Appoints John Cargill as Chief Commercial Officer

Advanced Clinical, a global clinical research organization (CRO), has appointed John Cargill as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

In his new role, Cargill will lead Advanced Clinical’s global commercial strategy, focusing on expanding its presence across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new growth opportunities across its integrated service portfolio.

Experience

Cargill brings extensive experience in the CRO industry, having held roles spanning clinical operations, proposals, business development and senior leadership. Advanced Clinical believes his broad understanding of the drug development lifecycle, combined with his experience in commercial strategy and technology-enabled clinical research, will support the company’s ambitions to build on its nearly 30-year history and expand its global reach.

A key focus of Cargill’s commercial strategy will be to unlock further opportunities across Advanced Clinical’s existing client portfolio while introducing its capabilities to new pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners. He will also support the company’s continued focus on innovation, including the responsible application of AI and other emerging technologies to enhance clinical trial delivery while maintaining scientific rigor, operational oversight and patient safety.
